I'm the CTO who doesn't believe most technology is good for humanity. I'm the pescatarian who loved bacon for decades. I'm the guy who swore he'd never go back to school then got two master's degrees. I'm the sr. executive with long hair. I've been a Latin teacher, Algebra teacher, Director of Technology, consultant, and coach. I'm a lifelong student. I embrace change. I try things like moving 3,000 miles from home, cold showers, and the 5 AM club. I've grown and shaved dozens of beards, renovated houses with limited prior experience, competed in a triathlon, and I regularly dream about starting a small farm. I learn constantly and read dozens of books a year.

Lastly, I want to have faith that people are "good"; that they will make the world "better"; that we can find some sort of community of humans in this world and make small sacrifices to do so.

30 years ago I wrote creatively. This may not start creatively, but I'm more interested in the journey of where it goes and where it ends than where it starts. My Medium project is to get myself writing things other than work emails again. I hope you enjoy what I publish and feel free to comment, respond, like, hate, etc... Let's see where this goes.
